Who We Serve

Five small children arrived at our agency. They were filthy, hadn’t eaten in several hours, and three of them didn’t have shoes.

Sadly, these stories all too often fly under the radar and we regularly receive letters like this from our Partner Agencies.

Our Partner Agencies include: CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) agencies, county responders to gun violence witnessed by children, crisis shelters (including those caring for battered women and their children), evacuation centers, homeless shelters, agencies caring for children rescued from sex trafficking, agencies assisting unaccompanied migrant children and law enforcement agencies.

Abused, neglected, abandoned, and homeless children come from all races, ethnicities, religions and economic backgrounds. They range from newborns to teens, and live in big cities and small towns. The common thread is that they’ve all been hurt by the people who should have provided love and safety.
