Janeen Holmes, Executive Director
My Stuff Bags Foundation
5347 Sterling Center Drive
Westlake Village, CA 91361
Dear Ms. Holmes,
St. Joseph’s Home for Children has been privileged to be a recent recipient of your wonderful “My Stuff” duffle bags. We want you to know how deeply appreciative we are!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
We serve the needs of children and youth who have been abused, neglected and abandoned. Typically, our young clients, ranging in age from newborn to nineteen years of age, come to us having been referred by social services, law enforcement, and the courts. Imagine arriving at St. Joe’s with your possessions hastily thrown together into a garbage bag. It is a humiliating and debilitating experience. Thanks to the My Stuff Bags Foundation, our children and youth have been able to leave St. Joe’s with a greater sense of self-esteem and a positive view of the future. Your bright blue duffle bags have such therapeutic value, and are a superb replacement for a garbage bag.
St. Joseph’s Home for Children specializes in assessment, crisis intervention, and residential programming for children with severe emotional and behavioral problems. Each year we provide more than 2,000 young clients with safety, shelter, help, and hope. The personal kindness, support, and encouragement of the My Stuff Bags Foundation has been a vital and important component in the work we are doing together for children who are most in need.
Sincerely,
Mary L. Schoelch
Volunteer Coordinator
