Bags Foundation Kicks Off “Celeb Stuff for My Stuff”
In Observance of National Foster Care Month This May
Celebrity Items and VIP Experiences to be Auctioned Off for Children
in Crisis
Westlake Village, Ca. – April
2008 – My Stuff Bags Foundation, - In observance of
National Foster Care Month, My Stuff Bags Foundation (www.mystuffbags.org)
is launching its first annual "Celeb Stuff for My Stuff" fundraising
campaign. During the month of May, eBay bidders will have the
opportunity to purchase unique celebrity items and star-studded
backstage experiences. All proceeds will benefit My Stuff Bags
Foundation, which provides duffel bags filled with new belongings to
abused, neglected and abandoned children entering foster care
without possessions. National Foster Care Month was established to
bring awareness to the plight of the more than half a million
children in foster care in America.

celebrities themselves with the VIP experiences that were generously
donated to our ‘Celeb Stuff for My Stuff’ campaign,” says Janeen

raise much needed funds and awareness for foster children in

selling romance novelist Judith Krantz; a birthday party performance
by Lamb Chop and Mallory Lewis; Nickelodeon’s iCarly Set Visit and
Meet and Greet; NBC Studio Tour and guest tickets for The Tonight
Show; and Dallas Cowboy’s Quarterback Tony Romo signed jersey and
football.
VIP experiences typically include tickets and an opportunity to meet

Launched in 1998, My Stuff Bags Foundation addresses some of the
immediate physical
and emotional needs of children who need to be rescued from abuse,
neglect and drug
infested homes. Traumatized by events leading to their rescue, these
children often enter
foster care with no belongings. Each individual duffel bag is filled
with such childhood
necessities as a blanket, stuffed animal, toiletries, clothing and
school supplies. My Stuff Bags has donated more than 325,000 bags to
1,100 organizations in 49 states.
