"No Sew" Fleece
Blanket Instructions

*This is a quick and easy way to make wonderful comforting blankets for My Stuff Bags even if you don’t know how to sew, knit or crochet. 

*Turn it into a fun project with family and friends.

**Our kids will LOVE them!!!

 

SUPPLIES

-Any fleece material (as this fabric has clean edges that won’t fray)
-A pair of good scissors

DIRECTIONS

1. Use 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 yard piece of Fleece, depending upon which size blanket you are making. Fabric is usually 58” wide. 

Approximate Finished Sizes:
        -Child 45” x 58” with 4” fringe on each side (1 1/4 yard of fabric)
        -Teens 54” x 58” with 4” fringe on each side (1 1/2 yard of fabric)

2. Measure finished dimension with 4” fringe on each side.

3. Cut off rough selvage (if needed) edge on both sides (this is the side that is machine finished, not cut)

4. Cut a 4x4” square out of each corner and discard.

5. Cut all 4 sides into 1” x 4” strips. Tie overhand knot close to blanket edge on each.
